Hi people,
My dad and a friend of him are here for 2 weeks to visit me and the beauty of Arizona. I was over duty time, meaning I flew 11 days without a break and then you MUST take 3 days off. The decision was very simple, LAS VEGAS! We passed the Hoover Dam, Route 66, and we went also to see a "pueblo" from the Tuzigoot, a national monument.

What else is new?
* A part of Prom7A left yesterday and are now back in Belgium and the others of prom7A will follow in a week or two. If they leave I'm in the oldest SFA group in AZ. *jeuj* Meaning I'm almost home as well XD Don't get me wrong, I love AZ, I love the people over here, and I sure will miss all my new friends I made here...Especially some Indian guys and the very polite Chinese guys :-) But 6 months is good enough, and I have to go back home to care for my little sister a bit :-)
* I passed check 80 and 90 without difficulties, whoehoe!!!
* Only 14 missions on the DA40 anymore
* DA42 here I come
* 2 weeks ago I had to do a long solo navigation flight on the Archer again because i didn't had enough "pic" (pilot in command) hours. And I'm done doubting, The Archer rules over the DA40!
* Belgium Chocolate is worth Gold over here!
* I just received a kilogram of it for the Bday!
* I feel so powerful right now!
* I had to fly yesterday night again...IFR so no big deal. I'm sorry that I'm not a poet. Otherwise I would have been able to capture the beauty of a night flight in a couple of sentences for you guys. I would have been able to let you feel, hear, taste, and see the magic, the silence, the peace, the lights and so on.
Anyway,
Blue skies, tailwinds and happy landings everybody!
